The owner run Windmill Wine Shop & Cottages is the ideal getaway base from which to explore our area or merely relax and unwind. with the Kruger National Park and the panoramic Blyde River Canyon just around the corner. The Windmill Wine Shop stocked with Cape Wines, local Craft Beers, freshly brewed Coffee and all sorts of eats, nibbles & treats. Depart before sunrise or after a leisurely breakfast to explore one of the largest National Parks in the world: Kruger National Park. The owner run Windmill Wine Shop & Cottages is set on 22 hectares of malaria free indigenous bush is the ideal getaway base from which to explore our area or merely relax and unwind. The location is extraordinary: overlooking the Sabie River Valley, and beyond to God’s Window and the Drakensberg, with the Kruger National Park and the panoramic Blyde River Canyon just around the corner. Windmill Cottage accommodation checks in is at The Windmill Wine Shop stocked with Cape Wines, local Craft Beers, freshly brewed Coffee and all sorts of eats, nibbles & treats. En-suite with showers and separate toilets (Bath towels provided) The baskets may vary slightly, but the general composition is fruit juice, homemade sandwich of cheese/cold meat, jam & marmalade, croissant or muffin, yoghurt, cereal bar & fruit in season. Children of all ages welcome (note rooms are not inter-leading) Kitchen equipped with cutlery & crockery, glasses, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge, pots & pans and a stove/oven. Private wooden deck with awesome views over the Sabie River Valley. The full extent of the stay will be charged for in the event of premature departure. At the T-junction on Long Tom Pass you turn right, to reach the town of Sabie after a short descent of about 7 km from the Pass. On both these routes you can expect thick misty fog during rainy weather and in the night on Long Tom Pass.
